We made it to my parent's house around 5:00 on Saturday night. DJ unpacked the car, and the girls and I settled in to the couch!
I don't feel like I post a lot of pictures of my step-dad, but here's one from Saturday evening.... I was playing with my new camera and he was an easy subject, because he'd actually sit still!
G decided that she wanted to paint before dinner.

My mom made chili, and we had chili dogs, or frito chili pie, with cheese dip, chocolate cake, and pumpkin pie!

Gee came up with the idea for a "Christmas Trivia" game, and we all had $1.00 store prizes!

After my sister left, we put all the kids in their pj's and hung out just a little bit longer. The girls had a lot of fun playing together.
They even made super model poses on the "stage."
I love the idea of a Christmas trivia game!!! What kinds of questions did she ask? Did she have rules? How did you get a prize? Secondly, can I use her idea next year? I think it would be a ton of fun at our family Christmas!!!

DeleteYou can absolutely steal the idea! My mom actually picked up the trivia cards at the $1.00 store, and we divided into teams. She pretended to keep score up to 10, and then the team would get to choose random gifts that she also picked up at the $1.00 store, but honestly, she didn't keep score and just let us all choose something!
